Writing Practice
A. Think of the most adventurous thing you want to do. Write two paragraphs about it.
Answer:
One of the most adventurous things I want to do is go skydiving. The idea of jumping out of an aeroplane from thousands of feet above the ground fills me with both fear and excitement. I imagine the strong wind rushing past me as I free-fall, and the moment of calm when the parachute opens. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a true test of my courage. I believe it will help me overcome my fear of heights and give me a sense of achievement.
Skydiving also offers a chance to see the world from a different view. Flying high above the earth and watching the tiny landscape below would be a thrilling sight. I think this adventure will give me confidence to try other daring things in life. It is not just about the fall, but also about trusting myself and taking risks. Skydiving, for me, is the perfect mix of thrill, challenge and joy.

Write a diary entry describing what happened and how you felt. Do not exceed 150 words.
Date: 10 May 2025
Dear Diary,
Today, I had the most frightening experience of my life! Last week, during our visit to the wildlife sanctuary, my friend and I were playing near the trees when we noticed a big black bear following us. At first, we thought we were imagining it, but when it came closer, we knew it was real. Without thinking twice, we ran and climbed up the nearest tree.
My heart was pounding as the bear clawed at the trunk. We stayed completely still and silent. After a few minutes, which felt like hours, the bear lost interest and walked away. I cannot describe the relief I felt! It was a terrifying yet unforgettable moment. I am thankful we acted quickly and stayed safe. This experience has taught me to always be alert and respect nature’s wild creatures.
